WOCHENBETT

In the exhibition "WOCHENBETT" biological data and artistic utopias merge into a layered analysis of the postpartum phase. The project sees the postpartum period not as a static state, but as an energetic field full of 'contradictory tensions,' where corporeality, psyche and social conventions collide. Through forms of expression ranging from cyanotype to installation, painting or video, the invisible becomes tangible: from the indelible scar of the navel to the 'shared body' of the new family unit. The artists explore the boundary between protected space and social pressure, between sacred reverence and mundane exhaustion. "WOCHENBETT" invites us to reconsider the vulnerability and at the same time the strength of this primeval moment as a necessary collective experience.
