The museum presents the historic permanent exhibition featuring selected works from the Tinkhauser Collection and, together with the KunstGarage, provides space for the presentation of contemporary art and temporary exhibitions. The exhibition areas of the museum and the KunstGarage are internally connected, allowing for flexible use and diverse forms of presentation.

Housed in the former post stables, the museum, as a historic museum structure, is dedicated to engaging with its own collection as well as with contemporary and socially relevant themes.
